Jahrhundert als fest etabliertes Fach in Militärakademien und Generalstabsschulen fungierte. Sie wurde „von Militärs für Militärs“ betrieben. Der Durchbruch zu einer Eingliederung in die Geschichtswissenschaft gelang mit der Gründung des Militärgeschichtlichen Forschungsamtes (MGFA) 1957. Ins Zentrum der Militärgeschichte ist u. a. die Operationsgeschichte gerückt, die militärische Manöver in der Geschichte behandelt. Insbesondere sind es die Aktionen einzelner Soldaten im Kontext der Kriege. Sie verbindet den Operationsraum mit dem Erfahrungs- und Kulturraum (der Soldaten).
Neben den Soldaten im Kontext der Kriege muss auch die Gesellschaft im Kontext der Kriege betrachtet werden. In dieser Arbeit wird anhand der Belagerung von Kaiserswerth 1702 eine einzelne militärische Aktion betrachtet. Ziel ist es, die Auswirkungen der Belagerung bzw. dieser militärischen Operation auf Soldaten und Bevölkerung der Festung aufzuzeigen. Ferner wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob es sich bei dieser Belagerung um eine idealtypische handelt. Der Idealtypus und die Belagerung von Kaiserswerth werden anhand zeitgenössischer wie sekundärer Quellen untersucht. Erbfolgekriege sind ein interessantes Forschungsfeld, da sie im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert in einer Zeit stattfanden, in der die europäischen (Fürsten-)Staaten besonders häufig in Kriege verwickelt waren. Außerdem treten hier die komplizierten dynastischen Verwandtschafts- und Verflechtungsverhältnisse mit ihren innewohnenden Problemen offen zutage.
Im ersten Kapitel wird der Spanische Erbfolgekrieg zur besseren Kontextualisierung der Belagerung von Kaiserswerth kurz skizziert. Im zweiten Kapitel wird der Idealtypus einer Bela-gerung anhand von zeitgenössischen Traktaten und Sekundärliteratur erarbeitet, damit im dritten Kapitel eruiert werden kann, ob die Belagerung von Kaiserswerth diesem Idealtypus entspricht. Weiterhin wird überprüft, welche Aus- und Nachwirkungen die Belagerung auf die Zivilbevölkerung und Soldaten hatte. In einem abschließenden Fazit werden die Ergebnisse zusammengefasst und ein Ausblick auf mögliche neue Forschungsansätze gegeben.

Beautiful Projects!

I love to bead and peyote is my favorite beading stitch. This book contains 15 projects and I actually like most of them.
The book contains 2 projects made with flat peyote stitch, 3 projects with circular peyote stitch, and 3 projects using tubular peyote. Then there are 5 projects called "peyote stitch extras" which incorporate other techniques like freeform and sculptural and other stitches like herringbone, right angle weave and netting.
The final 2 projects are categorized as "finishing touches", teaching various types of fringe, picot edging, bezels and others.

The photography is in full-color and is of great quailty. The diagrams are really clear and, at a glance, you can see how the pattern progresses. No matter how well-written beading instructions are, it is alwasys easy to get confused and lose track of where you are. That is why good diagrams are so important and this book has that.

The author also included a resource section in back which is nice to have.

Overall, this is a great book and I would recommend it to both beginners and advanced beaders.

I have been beading for several years now and I am familiar with nearly all of the beading techniques. Personally, I would rather see patterns that are actual pictures, rather than drawings. While I admire some of the beading projects, I find the instructions in this book hard to understand and have had to look to similar instructions from other beading books to actually understand the author's instructions. I would not recommend this book for a beginner.

Nice projects pictures disappointing in the kindle book

I was looking forward to this book and now I finally have it. The pictures are thumbnails or have an unnecessary amount of white space. It's a beading book of instructions, with lots of words. If the pictures had been bigger it would be perfect.

From that perspective it is just "ok".

In dieser Hauptseminararbeit versuche ich mich mit Schleiermachers Verständnis von Kirchenzucht auseinander zu setzen. Um dieses aufzeigen zu können, werde ich zum Vorverständnis den Begriff "Kirchenzucht" im Allgemeinen erläutern. Dabei möchte ich sowohl das geläufige Verständnis der reformierten Tradition, als auch das der praktischen Theologie und Systematik darlegen. Die Bezeichnung "Kirchenzucht" ist in unserem Sprachgebrauch heute nicht mehr vorhanden. Deswegen expliziere ich anschließend Schleiermachers Verständnis des Begriffs, um dann weitergehend eine Verbindung zwischen dem "Reinigenden Handeln" und der "Kirchenzucht" in seiner Schrift "Die Christliche Sitte" herzustellen, welche ich mit Schleiermachers Beispielen zur Ausübung des reinigenden Handelns untermalen werde. Dazu muss ich in diesem Kapitel einführend erläutern, was "Reinigenden Handeln" bei Schleiermacher bedeutet. Zudem möchte ich mich mit der Fragestellung, inwiefern Schleiermachers Verständnis von Kirchenzucht etwas für die heutige Kirche austragen kann, beschäftigen. Dabei werde ich sowohl darlegen, wie heutzutage "Kirchenverbesserung" im Sinne Schleiermachers umgesetzt werden kann, als auch explizieren, wie der Einzelne in der heutigen Zeit innerhalb der Gemeinde des reinigenden Handelns teilhaftig werden kann. Zum Schluss folgt dann ein begründetes Fazit, welches die wichtigsten Aussagen meiner Arbeit bündeln und auswerten soll.

Doch während vor Allem die Erstkommunion oder die Eheschließung auch bei „Nicht-Kirchgängern“ große Feste sind, die gerne zelebriert werden, hat die Krankensalbung bis heute einen faden Beigeschmack, von dem sich viele abschrecken lassen. „Wenn der Pastor kommt, ist es vorbei!“, wissen vor Allem ältere Menschen zu berichten. Aus Angst, man würde sich das eigene Lebensende eingestehen oder es einem nahen Angehörigen attestieren müssen, schreckt man davor zurück, sich hilfesuchend an die Kirche zu wenden. Doch gerade das Erleben von Krankheit und dem das Leben bedrohende Alter zeigt uns, wie zerbrechlich und anfällig wir als leibliche Menschen sind. Gerade auf diesen besonders schweren, den natürlichen Willen des Überlebens herausfordernden Wegen brauchen wir den Halt der Religion, des Gottes, der uns schon das ganze Leben über in freudigen Sakramentsfeiern begleitet hat. Die meisten
kennen das hier zu behandelnde Sakrament unter einem anderen Namen- noch vor wenigen Jahrzehnten nannte man es ‚Letzte Ölung’, aus dem Sprachgebrauch verschwunden ist diese Bezeichnung bis heute nicht. Dass die Krankensalbung aber eben ein Sakrament für die Kranken, nicht aber allein für die Sterbenden ist, muss den christlichen Gemeinden erst wieder bewusst werden. Eine Erinnerung an diese neue, obgleich ursprüngliche Sicht der Krankensalbung ist nötig, um sie als Hilfe und Trostspender zurück in den christlichen Alltag
zu bringen und erneut zu verankern. Diese Arbeit soll das ehemalige ‚Sterbesakrament’ in seinen Einzel- und Besonderheiten
beleuchten, seine biblischen und systematischen Hintergründe erläutern und abschließend einen Überblick über die geschichtliche Entwicklung des fünften Sakramentes geben.

Susann Krumpen wurde 1965 in Wernigerode geboren und lebt seit 2010 an der Grenze zu Sachsen Anhalt. Nach dem Schulabschluss studierte sie Krankenpflege an der med. Fachschule Bernburg/Saale und ließ sich anschließend zur Arzthelferin ausbilden. Seit zehn Jahren ist sie an verschiedenen Schulen sowie in der Erwachsenenbildung tätig. Seit 2009 arbeitet sie als freie Autorin und Bildungsreferentin. Um ihr Wissen im Bereich Entspannungstechniken und Körperarbeit auf eine breitere Basis zu stellen, beginnt sie 2001 eine Ausbildung als Heilpraktikerin an der Heilpraktikerschule in Gotha. Ihre psychologisch fundierten Fachbücher ermöglichen dem Leser tiefe Einblicke in das Thema Entspannung und Meditation. Dabei ist es ihr wichtig, durch die Einfachheit ihrer Formulierungen die von ihr geschriebenen Fachbücher gerade für den Laien verständlich und somit leicht zugänglich zu machen, sie verzichtet somit bewußt auf Fachtermini. Die Auswirkungen dieses Genozids sind noch heute spürbar und bestimmen den politischen Alltag. Eine grundlegende Voraussetzung für die Durchführung eines derartigen Verbrechens, war der 2. Weltkrieg. Erst die Wirren des Krieges und die damit einhergehende staatlich gelenkte Willkür, der ausgelebte Rassenhass, sowie die Revision der bis dahin in Europa geltenden humanistischen Errungenschaften, ermöglichten es dem 3. Reich die Juden Europas gnadenlos zu verfolgen und nahezu ausmerzen zu können. Um die angestrebten Ziele zu verwirklichen, benötigte das 3. Reich Verbündete und Ressourcen. Der Hauptverbündete in Europa war das faschistische Italien, dessen Führer Mussolini es vordergründig auf imperiale Größe abgesehen hatte.
In welchem Einvernehmen sich die jeweiligen Vorstellungen und Interessen der beiden Achsenmächte miteinander, im Bezug auf die sogenannte Judenfrage kombinieren lassen und wie sich infolge dessen, die gegenseitigen Beziehungen zwischen ihnen entwickelten wird abrissartig dargestellt.
Hierbei eröffnet sich die Frage, ob, und wenn ja, weshalb sich die Judenpolitik der italienischen und der deutschen Besatzer im besetzten Griechenland voneinander unterschieden, wie sich etwaige Unstimmigkeiten in der Vorgehensweise und der Zielsetzung in welcher Form geäußert haben?
Da sich diese Geschichte zur gleichen Zeit und im gleichen Land zugetragen hat, bietet sich ein methodischer Vergleich an. This book was a god-send when I was writing my senior thesis for college. There is very little on the subject of Coloured South African women and HIV. I am so happy a group of people decided to put the time and energy into studying this population and publish this book.
