Allerdings muss der Ist-Zustand der betroffenen Mitarbeiter bekannt sein, damit entsprechende Personalentwicklungsmaßnahmen getroffen werden können. Die Bestimmung des Ist-Zustandes kann durch ein 360° Feedback vollzogen werden. Dadurch, dass die übliche Bewertung vom einer Person herab, meist dem Vorgesetzten, durchbrochen wird und viele Quellen zur Beurteilung herangezogen werden, eignet sich das 360° Feedback außerordentlich gut zur Standortbestimmung von Mitarbeitern nahezu aller Hierarchieebenen.
Um ein grundlegendes Verständnis von dem 360-Grad-Feedback zu erlangen, wird dafür in Kapitel 2 die theoretische Basis gelegt. Dazu folgt in den ersten beiden Unterkapiteln eine Begriffsklärung der Termini 360° und Feedback. Abgeschlossen wird das Kapitel mit einer Kurzbeschreibung des Instruments. In Kapitel 3 wird die erfolgreiche Implementierung eines 360° Feedbacks anhand des Modells von Gebhardt erläutert. Anschließend werden Widerstände und Barrieren, die seitens der Individuen bei der Implementierung des Rundumfeedbacks auftreten können, thematisiert. Die zentrale Fragestellung die dieser Hausarbeit zugrunde liegt, lautet wie folgt: „Welche Widerstände können seitens der Individuen bei der Implementierung des 360° Feedbacks aufkommen?“
