Wissenschaftlicher Aufsatz aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Deutsch - Literatur, Werke, Note: keine, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Franz Kafka behandelt in diesem Text das Motiv des Lebensweges in Form eines Rittes von einem Dorf zum nächsten. Ein nicht näher kontu-riertes Ich gibt in wörtlicher Rede Ausführungen seines Großvaters wieder. der Erzähler erscheint aber nur als latentes Ich, versteckt im Possessivpronomen "mein". Im Unterschied zu O. Jahraus, der Kaf-kas Texten durchgehend Autoreflexivität im Sinn einer Selbstthemati-sierung hermeneutischer Unauflösbarkeit unterstellt, interpretiere ich den Prosatext als Denkbild. Da in dem Text kein Handeln einer erzählenden oder erzählten Figur und keine figurenunabhängigen Ereignisse mitgeteilt werden, also kein fiktives Geschehen und auch keine durch Erzählerrede konturierten Orts- oder Zeitangaben, sollte man nicht von einem Erzähler reden. Der Narrator legt seinem alten Großvater einen von keinem bestrittenen Erfahrungssatz in den Mund, der paradox anmutet, weil er der Erwartung und Erfahrung des jungen Reiters zuwiderläuft. Doch die paradoxen Züge des Textes erklären sich aus dem unterschiedlichen Verständnis, das der Reiter kurzfris-tig und der Großvater langfristig und in einem größeren Zusammenhang von Weg und Ziel haben. Der junge Reiter versteht unter Ziel konkret und irdisch das nächste Dorf, der Großvater aber meint mit Weg den Lebensweg, die Lebensreise, deren Ziel nicht im Irdischen liegt.Neben der von mir vorgelegten gibt es zu diesem Text nur eine sehr kurze Interpretation von C. Schlingmann in "Literaturwissen". Ich sehe in meiner ausführlicheren Deutung den Ritt ins nächste Dorf als Variante des Wege-Motivs, also als einen Topos. Im nautischen Bereich zeigt der Topos sich als navigatio vitae, als Lebensfahrt auf dem Meer der Welt. Dabei stellt sich auch die von G. Benn so be-zeichnete "Hafenfrage" nach der ihr Ziel ansteuernden Lebensfahrt. Ich sehe in dieser bildhaften Reflexion mit der Figur eines Schei-ternden ebenso einen aporetischen Grundzug wie in der sich verrennen-den "Kleinen Fabel"-Maus oder in dem nie an sein Ziel gelangenden Überbringer der "Kaiserlichen Botschaft". Der Text ist keine Para-bel, sondern ein Denkbild. Großvater und Reiter bleiben sie selbst, ich halte eine Neusemantisierung der erzählten Figuren für nicht not-wendig. Aber: die Präpositionalphrase "für einen solchen Ritt" ent-hält ein Transfersignal, das Reiten hat hier für den reflektierenden Narrator einen anderen semantischen Inhalt als für den jungen Reiter.
