Die Ermittlung und Bewertung erbrachter Schülerleistungen, ist eine der Aufgaben, mit der sich Lehrkräfte im Schullalltag befassen müssen. Die Leistungsfeststellung und -bewertung basiert auf bestimmten Leitsätzen, die auch verbindlich für die im Sachunterricht erbrachten Schülerleistungen sind.
In der vorliegenden Hausarbeit möchte ich hauptsächlich auf die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten zur Ermittlung von Leistungen im Sachunterricht eingehen und Schwierigkeiten bei der Leistungsbewertung aufzeigen, die in so einem komplexen Unterrichtsfach wie dem Sachunterricht, auftreten können. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit wird zum einen der pädagogische Leistungsbegriff kurz aufgegriffen und zum anderen die Funktion der Leistungsbewertung in der Schule thematisiert. Die Ermittlung der Leistung und deren Bewertung ist Inhalt des zweiten Teils der Arbeit. Hier wird zunächst auf die verschiedensten Leistungsbeurteilungsinstrumente im Sachunterricht eingegangen und anschließend werden die Bezugsnormen, die der Leistungsbewertung zu Grunde liegen, bestimmt. Außerdem wird auch ein Blick auf die Sachunterrichtsleistung in Zeugnissen geworfen und abschließend Probleme bei der Leistungsbeurteilung aufgezeigt.
