Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Geschichte der Päd., Note: 1,0, Universität Vechta; früher Hochschule Vechta (Institut für Bildungs- und Sozialwissenschaften), Veranstaltung: Erziehungs- und Bildungsprozesse in Schulen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Hausarbeit, entstanden im Seminar „Erziehungs- und Bildungsprozesse in Schulen“, beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Indoktrination in der Erziehung. Dabei soll vor allem das gewählte Fallbeispiel, Erziehung im Nationalsozialismus, helfen, zu einer Definition zu kommen, die mehr sein soll als eine für den allgemeinen Sprachgebrauch. Besonders berücksichtigt werden sollen vor allem die pädagogischen Implikationen des Begriffs. Als grundlegend wird zunächst die Definition von Karl Zenke gelten, die Indoktrination als „gezielte Beeinflussung der Meinungsbildung anderer unter Ausnutzung von Abhängigkeiten, autoritärer Macht und Kontrolle der Informationsmöglichkeiten“ auffasst.
Zunächst aber sollen in aller Kürze die wichtigsten Zäsuren herausgearbeitet werden, um den Wandel der Begrifflichkeit der Indoktrination zu unterstreichen.
Die wichtigste Frage, die sich aus diesem historischen Überblick ableitet, ist die nach der Unterscheidung von Unterricht bzw. Erziehung und Indoktrination. Stehen sich die beiden Begriffe dichotom gegenüber oder stellt Indoktrination vielmehr ein Extrem von Unterricht bzw. Erziehung dar? Diese Frage soll im weiteren Verlauf dieser Hausarbeit beleuchtet werden. Dazu soll zunächst ein vor allem theoriegestützter Definitionsversuch dienen. Anschließend soll im ersten Hauptteil dieser Arbeit eine Analyse des Erziehungssystems im Nationalsozialismus folgen, um die bisherigen Thesen zu überprüfen bzw. zu ergänzen. Im zweiten Hauptteil sollen dann anhand wichtiger Schlüsselkategorien, die sich zum einen aus dem Fallbeispiel und zum anderen aus den Thesen Olivier Rebouls ergeben, die bis dahin erarbeiteten Definitionsversuche erweitert und ggf. revidiert werden. Im abschließenden Schritt soll dann eine einheitliche Definition von Indokt-rination vorgestellt werden, die Indoktrination gerade auch als Teil der Pädagogik begreift, um so herauszustellen, dass indoktrinäre Tendenzen auch in modernen demokratischen Systemen virulent sein können. Eine kurze Zusammenfassung rundet schließlich die Ergebnisse dieser Hausarbeit ab.
